No. Our natural deodorant is formulated without ozokerite. Rather than relying on ingredients commonly found in many mass-produced deodorants, we carefully choose ingredients that reflect the quality and values of The Happy Goat Soapery. We encourage customers to research all cosmetic ingredients and make informed choices about ingredients like Ozokerite.

This will depend on how many times a day you apply of course. One (1)  2.40 Jar should last about 3-4 months on average.

Our natural deodorant is formulated to minimize staining when used as directed. We include arrowroot powder to help absorb excess oils and create a smooth application. For best results, apply a thin layer and allow it to absorb before getting dressed. 

No they do not, they are plant based. Our natural deodorants do not contain goat milk. Goat milk is an excellent ingredient for our cold process soaps & lotions, but we formulate our deodorants with ingredients specifically chosen to help control odor.

We formulate every product the way we'd want it made for ourselves with no compromises. None of our soaps or lotions contain Titanium Dioxide or dyes.

We only use safety data tested and certified oils only. We NEVER use Endangered plants in our Essential oils. We only use Essential Oils from companies that adhere to legal guidelines, providing us with Analysis, and align with our core values. We do not use Multi Level Marketing companies to source our ingredients ever. We purchase from reputable transparent companies to keep our customers safe.

No, We do not add Palm Oil to our Soaps, Lotions or Deodorants.

With any skin condition; we always advise you seek a professional skin care specialist or dermatologist for advise. Each persons skin is unique in its own way. When it comes to eczema there are multi levels of the condition and its hard to gauge what would suit you best. Any fragrances or essential oils could be very irritating to the Eczema. We do offer fragrance free options.

Yes, we hand-make all of our cosmetic products and soaps right here in the USA. As we grow we will be adding more ways to efficiently produce.

All of our soaps are made with Pure Quality Olive Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Castor Oil and  All Natural and Organic Ingredients. Some have Certified Essential oils and some have Safety Rated Fragrance oils. We have a little of everything for everyone although we do not call them "Organic" as we are not in an organic certified facility- they do contain many skin loving organic and natural ingredients. 

We do not make specific soaps for pets however, we do list all the ingredients on the label and allow the pet owner to make the best decision for their pet. We do have customers that wash their pets with our unscented soaps but again, we allow the owners to make that call for their pet.

We do not market are products specifically for babies however, our products are Paraben Free, Sulfate Free, and Dye free (options). We do list all of our ingredients on our labels and leave it up to the parents to make the decision for their own children, each child is unique. Goat milk is gentle enough on babies skin, and can help soothe irritation and support overall skin health, but if you have any concern always check with your pediatrician first.

There is no gluten added in our products but could have trace amounts in our sunflower or soybean oil.

Several studies have shown that goat milk proteins have many benefits for people suffering from skin conditions. Goat's milk contains several types of protein, including caseins, whey proteins, and immunoglobulins, and is gentle on the skins mantle.  Goats milk has the closest PH level to our skin. Although, we cannot claim our products will heal and definitely can't claim to treat medical conditions; with a quick online search you will discover the vast range of beneficial properties and stories associated with the use of Goat Milk in skin care.

Our soaps do not contain soy but our lotions do. Soy delivers a soothing sensation that calms skin down, and it's a perfect option for targeting lines and wrinkles without risking the irritation. Soy and its derivatives are loaded with isoflavones. Rich in amino acids, these flavonoids support collagen and elastin synthesis. 

We don't ever recommend it. Lye soap and solid shampoo bars are both solid bars that are used for cleaning, but they differ in their composition and purpose. Lye soap, also known as cold process soap, is made by mixing fats or oils with lye (sodium hydroxide) and water in a reaction called saponification. Which magically makes wonderful solid body soap that is effective in cleaning and removing dirt and oils from the skin. On the other hand, solid shampoo bars are specifically formulated for cleaning the hair. They are made with gentle surfactants and other hair-friendly ingredients like oils, butters, and essential oils. They are not made with lye (Sodium Hydroxide).

In Short: Both lye soap and solid shampoo bars are solid bars used for cleaning, However they have different compositions and purposes.

Lye soap is used for cleaning the skin, while solid shampoo bars are designed for cleaning the hair. And some solid bars made with surfactants are formulated to do both.  Be aware that some makers will ... and do tell you that lye soap is safe for your hair. It's not. Overtime it will and does damage the hair shaft. Reach out to your haircare professional/ hair dresser if you need to. Use Our Ph Balanced Shampoo Bars on your hair and Our Lye Soaps on your Body.

In the world today, there is so much uncertainty, mostly due to big corporations hiding dangerous chemicals in skin care. We know how important this is to you. This is why we are very particular with choosing how we scent our products. 

Essential Oil - safety data tested and certified oils only. We do not use over harvested, threatened or endangered plants in our essential oils. We only use Essential Oils and Fragrances from companies that adhere to legal guidelines, providing us with Analysis.

To get some naturally derived scents (depending on the endangered status) would destroy rainforests, and disrupt some natural eco systems. Therefore we choose to not only use essentail oils but fragrance oils as well - to protect those plants that are in critical stages.

Phthalates are harmful to you, your pets, + the planet. They can impact your natural hormones and can lead to serious health issues, like lower fertility, development issues & higher risk of cancer. Phthalates also function as solvents and stabilizers in perfumes and  most fragrances. You can feel safe knowing that our fragrance oils NEVER have phthalates in them EVER! 

Our goat milk soaps are a creamy luxurious lather, due to the high quality oils used to make the soaps. Sometimes big bubbles can be a sign of dangerous additives in commercial grade soaps. Bigger is not always better.

There is a long list of benefits to using Goat Milk Soap. Especially for those with skin ailments like eczema, and psoriasis. Goat milk contains Lactic acid which is an alpha hydroxy, known to soothe and promote healthy overall skin. It perfect for those with sensitive skin. Although, we never claim to treat or cure any skin condition goat milk soap has been known to soothe and calm the most sensitive skin.

No, Many of these yoni soaps are sold with ingredients and additives that are not safe for feminine use or in soaps in general. This Instagram craze can be potentially very dangerous and we suggest you steer clear. No bar of soap is going to cure menstrual cramps, tighten your vagina, balance your hormones, or cure your bacterial and fungal disease and it's against the law to sell soap claiming this. Those that do, do not care for your well being. I have seen botanicals added to glycerin soaps, (virtually rotting with mold), being sold to unsuspecting consumers. STOP with the madness! Just say NO!

We've been blessed to say our milk is sourced from local dairy farmers; when it's available to us. We have multiple farms that we source from and continue to add more farms to our list. This localization helps us keep our carbon footprint and emissions lower, supports our community farms and allows us to be more sustainable. 

Handmade soaps don’t have extra hardeners or preservatives added. Due to their natural ingredients, they need tender loving care. Always keep your soap out of standing water and away from the shower stream. We offer bamboo soap dishes specifically for keeping your soap elevated and airy. Also, if your cut pieces off your bar and toss in a soap pouch as needed, this will also provide longevity to your soap. We offer pouches as well. Your soap on average should last you 3-4 weeks.
